South Butler school district worried over latest dangerous water test

More testing is being done by the South Butler County School District to ensure the safety of the staff and students. High levels of copper and lead were beyond the reasonably safe margin were located in Knoch High School and the Intermediate Elementary School, and the Primary School.
So far, 21-fixtures were found to be beyond reasonably safe in the school. Some fixtures are used in the process of food serving as well.
Earlier, 37 fixtures were reported to be unsafe and those are being replaced currently. Classroom sinks contaminated will remain shut off until they are replaced and pass a DEP test.
