Town to give everyone a Narcan nasal-spray to help save lives

Ohio has become a large state for making news in the opioid-epidemic field… first, it started with Butler County, OH not wanting officers to carry Narcan while on-duty, then Middletown, OH decided to propose a “3-strike” idea which would start to eliminate repeat offenders.
Now, a nearby Ohio county would like to order over 30,000 doses of Narcan in a nasal-spray form to hand out to citizens, schools, and even employers. Much like the 2 ideas proposed above, half of the commenters are for it, and half are strongly against it.
The Hamilton County health commissioner stated in an interview with “Bloomberg” that anyone who leaves a jail or hospital for an overdose, they should leave with “Narcan on the belt”.
