Police agencies now targeting aggressive drivers, left-lane riders

The Pennsylvania State Police, in addition to PennDOT and local police agencies, will be targeting aggressive drivers in an attempt to limit wrecks. The program will run through November 19th, according to an official PennDOT press release.
Local police agencies and PennDOT met in Adams Township to discuss the targeting of drivers. 50 police departments and 4 state barracks will be attempting to limit aggressive drivers.
Police will be looking for these offenses:
- Drivers riding the left-lane
- Off-road lights being used illegally/fog lights
- Illegal passing, unsafe maneuvers
- “Brake checking”
Drivers will be fined and points will be added to licenses if anyone is caught driving aggressively.
