Cranberry Township, here is your fire department!
January 26, 2018
In the midst of the chaos happening in Cranberry Township, this is what a “trained” emergency vehicle driver for the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Department looks like. No worries, they weren’t in a big hurry…. oh wait, they were only heading to a structure fire response with the “SAFER” crew. Again, this is your tax-payer money going towards. A brand-new ladder truck being turned around on a 2-lane road and ultimately, backing off of the roadway when a spotter is required to be outside fo the truck at ALL times while backing up.
After reviewing the official state website, the only required classes to drive a fire truck in Pennsylvania is Hazmat. A formal Pennsylvania Right To Know Information request will be made to determine who the driver was, and what qualifications they have.
Don’t worry, the “$1-million dollar” ladder truck must be doing well after being scraped underneath. Turley’s Towing was requested because of the incident. Want the best part? Freedom road was shut down due to this, and that caused ANOTHER crash which left a teenager with a neck injury!
