2 injured in Evans City Road crash over weekend

CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, Pa. – 2 people were injured in a crash that happened just before 1:00 pm. on Sunday along Evans City Road.

State police responded to the call which included an SUV and a minivan, just near the Shell gas station and new #1 Cochran Subaru of Butler location.

According to reports, an SUV pulled out of the Butler Farm Market, on the south-side of Evans City Road.

As the SUV was pulling out, a minivan struck the SUV, which was heading west towards Evans City and Connoquenessing.

2 people were transported by Butler Ambulance Service to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, according to reports. 1 of the persons transported was the driver of the SUV. There were 4 passengers in the minivan, and 1 of them was the other person transported by ambulance.

Information was limited as to the occupants names and such.
