PITTSBURGH, Pa – Strong storms are expected to sweep across the Ohio-state and begin to taper off Monday evening as they come near Armstrong County. The National Weather Service wants to give an advanced-alert to everyone in the area to be weather prepared in case of a severe storm.
Even though the storms are expected to taper off, severe weather warning can be issued tomorrow night. Hazards could include small hail, winds 65 MPH or less, along with heavy downpours at times. A small isolated tornado cannot be ruled out in the Slippery Rock area and northwest.
